Let’s Make It Official

About me

I am a friendly, down to earth celebrant based on the Sunshine Coast. I believe your wedding ceremony should feel meaningful, relaxed, and be genuinely enjoyable - no pressure for perfection.

My Celebrancy journey started when my best friend and I were guests at a wedding and she joked that the only person she would want to officiate her marriage was me. Fast forward a few years, she got engaged, I started studying and Amy McDonald the Wedding Celebrant was born.

I take great pride and gratitude in being able to celebrate your very special day. I will guide you through the entire process, take care of all the legal requirements, and work with you to create a ceremony that is professional, meaningful, and a genuine reflection of your love story.

Choosing your celebrant should feel easy and exciting. If my approach sounds like the right fit for you, I would love for you to take a look through my services or visit my social media for recent ceremonies and updates. I am based on the Sunshine Coast, and happy to travel wherever your celebration takes place.

When you are ready, reach out and let’s have a chat about making things official.

Amy was an incredible wedding celebrant and we feel so lucky to have had her be part of our day. She is genuinely warm, funny, and so down to earth, which made us feel completely comfortable with the whole process. Amy took the time to get to know us and told our love story in such a personal way. The ceremony was beautiful, and so many of our guests commented on how heartful the ceremony was. We couldn’t have asked for a better celebrant.”

“Thank you, Amy, for making our day so special”
